I want to make colorful and lively pictures that suit the features of the island through my chalk art.
I use a chalk art style that originated in Australia. I thought it matched the streets of Ishigaki-shima, which itself has an almost foreign feel to it. Using just pastels and your fingers, chalk art is enjoyable because it results in completely different feels to even the same picture drawn by different people. I want to improve my senses through the nature of Ishigaki-shima, and create colorful and lively pictures which suit the features of the island, expanding into various art genres.
Born in Kanagawa Prefecture. Drawn into the charm of the ocean of Ishigaki-shima through her hobby of diving, she then moved to the island. She creates art using blackboard-use pastels and her fingers.
