I want to express, through jewelry, living along with nature which the island teaches us.
I studied silver engraving on my own while living on Ishigaki-shima, and taken in by the beauty of the island's shells, I also study shell polishing. I make jewelry using shells and metals, display them in gallery shops, exhibit them at events, and sell them at shops. I want to show more and more people how shells don't lose out, even to stones, as material for jewelry. I want to spread these shell works more, allowing people to feel closer to nature just by wearing them.
